We have just returned from 4 wonderful nights at Riad le Perroquet Bleu. The Riad itself is a beautiful, tranquil oasis of calm amid the craziness of Marrakech, but still close enough to the main sites. We walked to the Bahia Palace in around 15mins and back from the Djemma el Fna in around 20mins. Although busy, we never felt like we shouldn't be out and about on foot, we felt completely safe in the area around the Riad. The rooms were airy and well finished, the beds very comfy. Between us we had a family suite in the "blue and white" part of the Riad which was large and clean, and my in-laws had a wonderful superior room in the "breakfast" part of the Riad.Speaking of which - breakfasts were large and plentiful - pastries, pancakes, bread, juice, coffee. We certainly didn't have any worries in this department. And the staff were so considerate that on a day when we needed to leave super early for a trip to Ait Ben Haddou, they arranged for a breakfast to be put out for us before we went. The team always were welcoming and happy to assist, be it arranging cars or serving delicious food!All told I can totally recommend this place - I can't imagine you'd get the same feeling of Marrakech staying in some soulless Euro all inclusive in Palmerai, but that's just my view.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. The location might not be fabulous, but it is only a 15 min. walk from the large Djemaa el Fna square. This walk is easy, sometimes a bit busy, but that is not unusual for the streets of Marrakech. Besides that, the breakfast we had were pancakes with various toppings, coffee, tea and fresh orange juice. This may be simple but the quality is very high. Also, the riad is extremely quiet on the inside, with even the chirping of small birds. However, the riad is located right next to a mosque so expect to hear the call to prayer multiple times a day. But for the rest, we are very happy with our experience at this riad. Kind regards, Vincent

The Riad was beautiful, and our room was perfect. The staff (Omar, Rabii, Mustapha, Younes) were all so friendly and helpful. For example, Omar helped us with any questions we had and gave us loads of recommendations around Marrakech, and Rabii taught us how to make Moroccan tea. Wonderful experience overall and I would highly recommend staying at Le perroquet bleu

Room was very pleasantly decorated with a comfortable bed. Sauna in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus (although we didn't try it). The air-conditioning worked very well. We had chosen a suite with a private terrace however the public roof terrace seemed like a well kept secret! It was lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly (they seemed a little reserved to start with but if you ask them anything they try to help). The food stops early, at 7pm, and is a relatively basic menu but was well presented and tasty. Useful if we didn't want to head back into town after a long day.

We had a very idyllic and romantic stay. The staff is wonderful, helpful, embracing and makes the Riad feel like home. We did not want to go home after 14 days. I got the sense that it is the best Riad in town with the best location!Nothing negative to say and I will definitely book at Riad Le Perroquet Blue again, if we are coming back. The souks in the Medina are a reason to come back. There are so many unique souks, where you can for great prices (if you are strong in bargain) buy wonderful stuff like spices, lamps, carpets and leather. The stay made it possible to retreat from the busy Marrakech and enjoy the suite or pool.Marrakech is something from another world, and if you have a strong personality then you will love it like us. I say strong because you need to be strong in saying ‘no’ and bargain. All in all: book at Riad Le Perroquet Blue. You will have a wonderful adventurous time.

We have stayed here for 3 nights as a family in a family suite. 2 rooms connected by a balcony. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I would improve was the water pressure in the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I was impressed. I liked that we could get to the riad by car and park there. The location is great too as it is not central to the Medina but everything is within a walking distance. We will definitely come back!

This has been by far the best stay I have ever had in Marrakech. Mustafa is one of a kind and truly is wonderful in giving you a welcome feeling. Very helpful and sincerely kind. The riad itself is very clean and beds are comfortable. If I would visit Marrakech again, 100% that I would iBook this riad again solely to meet with Si Mustafa again!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the Riad. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and attentive, especially Yunus and Omar. They were very helpful in organising our day trips and organising our airport transfer. They also gave us some good recommendations on where to visit. The breakfast was also very tasty. I would definitely recommend!
